Is cleaning as horrid a task to other people than me?
I've been trying to be good all week and tidy up the flat a little bit at a time but I just can't get it done. And I really should cause I've got family coming over on Sunday to celebrate my b-day!
But today was an exception! Yes, my friends, I cleaned my windows. And while I was doing that I realised that I sort of like it. :D Of course the lovely Graham Chapman visited my head while I was doing it and sang his merry song.
Because I've been faux-busy with the cleaning and everything I haven't been able to visit Pythonline as much as I've wanted to. Many a time I've typed in the address of the site but then never gotten around to logging in. o_O
The good news is that 1) now I'm back and 2) I've nearly finished mr Palin's Hemingway's Chair (brilliant book!) and maybe will soon have time to dig into Pole To Pole and Around the World In 80 Days. *happy dance*
hope all my Pythonesque friends are well!!

arkennedy: .... Although I don't mind cleaning windows either. I never got the "I don't do windows" saying. Of all cleaning tasks it always seemed the easiest to me. I've been told people say that because they don't like heights (referring to cleaning the outside of a window) but even that doesn't bother me. I'm quite fond of heights (love the view from up there).
By the way I'm a Johnny Depp fan as well :) In fact I've made a Johnny Depp wallpaper (shown below).

I don't much like heights myself. but I think I could wash windows somehwere higher than where I live too.. but at the moment I live on the first floor so definitely no fear of falling. :D
