Spamalot Los Angeles Permiere!

OK.. I'm still recovering from Wednesday night's premiere of SPAMALOT at the Ahmanson Theatre in Los Angeles.

YES! I've FINALLY SEEN SPAMALOT!!! (hard to believe isn't it???) It was well worth the wait, with John O'Hurley as King Arthur. This Lady of the Lake (I'm trying to look up her name, as I think they had a last minute cast change) was .... BREATHTAKING. Her voice was perfection.

Eric looked so happy. So proud (and for good reason, the production was smoooooth).

If you missed Eric on the Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson, there's a link to it a the bottom of the page here

I was escorted for the evening (at no cost to me) by Mr. Steve Valentine (some of you would know him from Crossing Jordan as Nigel). An amazing actor (a flawless magician) and a really GREAT guy (he's an animal rescuer!)

The after party was surreal. I wound up in a waterbed with Joanne Worley on the rooftop of The Standard Hotel... But that's for later...

For anyone who has never seen Spamalot... WHY IN THE HELL HAVEN'T YOU??? GO!! NOW!!! HURRY UP! CAN'T WAIT ALL MINUTE!!! SHOOOOO!!!

On the top of The Standard Hotel... The view was breathtaking. So much fun. Such a beautiful night. The best part was to see Eric so happy, so proud and SO in his element.

BroMaynardG: Is that another chicken joke?

As Richard Nixon asked; "Sock It To Me?"

kisch: So happy for you Jeanna !
Spamalot is indeed a wonderful production, I enjoyed each and every minute of it last year in London ! If I could, I would go again.

Lemming_Of_The_BDA: You better believe it!
This time Rylie's coming too.
T'will be her first time...

ANYWAY as usually Jeanna
WOW I'm always so amazed by your awesomeness

It's all about the awesomeness of the Pythons... And especially Eric and John DuPrez for creating Spamalot.

I will never grow tired of the creative minds of Idle, Cleese, Gilliam, Jones, Palin and of course Chapman.

I'm glad you're getting to go again! I'm jealous! I'm sure I'll have to wait for a while! I'm sad I can't go to the Royal Albert Hall show, I hear there will be some REALLY funny stuff. (I've been taunted by those 'in-the-know') I'm waiting for a full report! Wah!

but I have seen recordings of it from broadway, with tim curry, so I have seen it, and I love it.
but sadly, if its only gonna play in skåne I wont be able to see it live. :/
