This is what I did the other day at work when I had absolutely nothing, I mean NOTHING to do. The text I had to make with a computer and then print out, since via trial and error it was the best and at the time only solution.

Nice surreal feeling, when a 16 ton weight is about 1 cm x 1 cm small.

How I did it

I needed:
- an unused wine cork
- a loop screw
- a sharp knife
- a black marker
- a computer
- a printer
- a paper
- a glue stick
- a lazy day at the office
- a cuppa caffeine

First cut the cork in somewhat symmetrical shape of a 16 ton weight. No more, no less. Sip. Color it black and screw the loop on top. Sip. Print a matching sized label saying "16 TONS", cut it out and glue. Sip. Admire your work well done. Sip. Amaze your friends with your quirkyness. Sip.

Do you suppose

it would still work if the unused wine cork were substituted for a used one, and the caffeine was swapped with a glass of wine (or the whole bottle) because I have this bottle of wine here.......(Australian table wine lol)

Technically yes

but you should do the cutting bit right after opening the bottle, we don't want you to die on haemorrhaging!

Unless you have the Perth Pink there. You shouldn't open that.

No, no

I keep that strictly for killing intruders.

Oddly, my hand-eye co-ordination improves when I'm intoxicated

That is scary

So if you wanted to be a doctor, you'd have to follow Grahams foot steps. I don't know how the patients would react to the fact that their surgeon has had a few...

I had a friend once

Who really had all the brains and will power to be a doctor, and the aptitude test told him thats what he should do (not that I put any faith in those)...he also had really shaky hands, so it was never going to happen.

I don't think I could be a doctor, firstly I hate sick people (well, physically sick ones, I feel at home with the mental cases) and secondly I will not be held responsible for another persons life.

The idea would be to drink vodka, so that you don't smell like an alcoholic

There's been

some interest among the community of such a section... All of us aren't that techsavvy people - or at least I'm not - so this would open whole new areas for the Python Army!

oh yes and

each entry can have a "how to" section so that others can make the same.
I'd love to do python art projects!
If only I were at my old school, then I'd make python stained glass! For I don't think my new school has stained glass, shame.

Ohhhh

Sounds like a good idea. I want python stained glass *runs down to studio* wait a tick, where am I going to put it?

I love how to's as well. It's not actually a bad idea, even if it is just a teeny bit sad (be fair).

But until admin agrees, it can always be an underground movement.

It's the best service some of us can do for the army......confusion en masse in the real world.....hey, we might even stick pythonline.com on it somewhere.

I'm so making a 16 ton keychain, I love it sooo much. Seems you often have nothing to do at work...I want your job!
