PRINCE HARRY UNDERSCORES THE “IMPORTANCE OF NOT BEING SEEN”

SOMEWHERE-IN-AFGHANISTAN, AFGHANISTAN (29.FEBRUARY.2008) – His military cover blown by what one top official described as “the usual Internet media leaks,” Bonnie Prince Harry will be shipped out of Afghanistan as soon as possible, after only 2.5 months duty there.

In an exclusive interview with The Daily Python, Harry — aka “Harold Wales” — appeared disappointed, but not despondent. The Prince stated he would miss the freedom-of-movement away from the Royals’ constant paparazzi commotion that has followed him since birth, as well as the esprit-de-corps among the troops, playing desert soccer, and ”calling in air strikes against select enemy sites.”

Prince Harry, who described himself as a “bullet magnet,” was first advised about his Afghanistan tour by his Grandmum, The Queen. “We thought it best if he were told by a family member, rather than a member of the bureaucracy,” stated Her Majesty. “Quite frankly, we thought we’d be rid of him for a bit longer, at least giving us time to redo his flat in a nice bunny motif, in time for Easter.”

Since the Prince has spent time on the front lines, we feel he is now qualified to handle a live audience onstage. Hence, we would like to offer Prince Harry the position of understudy, in the West End production of “Spamalot,” and have made the appropriate overtures. Since the Prince ---– who’d been quoted as saying he “generally (doesn't) like England that much” and “it's nice to be away from all the press and the papers" ---- has spent time on the front lines, we feel he is now qualified to handle a live audience onstage. Hence, we would like to offer Prince Harry the position of understudy, in the West End production of “Spamalot,” and have made the appropriate overtures. Stay tuned, to learn more!!
