That's DEFINITELY NOT funny.

that I actually was on MC around that time, but I ran into some problems, so I can't use that computer (including the MC) this weekend anymore... *sigh*

what's wrong with the computer? (computer geek talk)
Did the MC crash it or was it something else? (more geek talk, but hey at least it's understandable!)
I've NEVER had the MC do a full crash on my computer but recently I've had issues with logging on to my you tube account so I can't post video from it to there.

It's both lucky and in this case emarrassing, that I'm engaged with a computer geek (I've always been attracted to computer geeks, so I decided to get married with one ;9).

I made a n00bie error of opening a link which turned out to be a Messenger worm. Lucky that my fiancé knows how to fix it, but embarrassing because he's computer (we have two in the house connected to each other) got infected as well, so the worm spreaded onwards and he's friends gave him a hard time. So I made him look like an idiot.

So ANYWAY, he had to go on a trip for the weekend, so he only had time to fix his own computer, but not mine. He even left me a note, that I shouldn't try to mash today, so his computer wouldn't get infected again. *sigh* Now I took the liberty to install the MC on HIS computer, so I can at least scout through some tutorials, since my saved graphics etc. can't be reached from here.

I know more about computers than most of my girlfriends, but last night I felt like a real bimbo. Had a good talking to about it as well. You see, this is the first time that I actually have an Internet connection on my home PC, so how could I have known these things. Dad never wanted us to get a Internet connection, and now when I'm living on my own (+fiancé) I'm not prepared for this sort of situations. Little steps, and learning the hard way.

however nowadays my brother insist I do everything on my computer on my own. he never helps me with finding programs all he tells me is "good luck" and when I tell him I found the program online that works like the one I needed he says
"See! aren't you glad I didn't help you?!" well of course not! would've been easier if he just told me.
In other words 'm a self bread computer geek. (sadly one that isn't used to getting help) The challenging thing for me is I'm used to harder programs on the computer and when I get a nice and easy one like MC I freak out until I find that it was something simple I had to do to work it and reply with a
"That's all?!" and I then hit my forehead in the usual "why didn't I think of that way"

but so does sewing clothes. Still I need some help with both of them. Mainly the sort of help like "*how do I do this? -well click here, drag there and save. *thanks!". Even if I have a clue, how to do things, I often need a sort of blessing for it, so I know that I'm not getting into trouble after trying it out. Because I HATE starting again. Like in sewing clothes, it's not that easy to "undo" things when you realize you've made a mistake. *immediately starts singing myyyyy mistaaaake, I made myyyyyy mistaaaake*

Luckily knitting and crochet isn't that hard to undo. And luckily RSMBiggles is usually on MC when I am there.

although again I'm not that used to it so sometimes I debate "ask or don't" if I don't ask I usually get it on my own. (eventually)

that you (eventually) get things done on your own, your not depended on anyone. Well, in some matters, anyway. But it does make things go a lot faster though.
