Favorite sketch of all time

What honestly is your favorite sketch from the pythons? I know for me it is really hard to pick one because pretty much all of them are all so freaking hilarious. The Sketch Woody and Tiny Words and the Funniest Joke in the world are at a equal draw for me.

"No no he's not dead, he's, he's restin'! Remarkable bird, the Norwegian
Blue, idn'it, ay? Beautiful plumage"!

Nicole Cushing: I'm a fan of the really absurd Python stuff, so I think I have a three-way tie between...

1. Mr. Neutron

2. The Most Awful Family In Britain 1974

3. A sketch I don't really know the name of, where the Pepperpots are in a park, and the dialogue goes like this.

Pepperpot #1: "Hello, Mrs. Gorilla."

Pepperpot #2: "Hello, Mrs. Non-Gorilla."

#1: "Been shopping?"

#2: "No....been shopping."

#1: "What'd you get?"

#2: "A piston engine!"

#1: "Why'd you get that?"

#2: "It was a bargain!"

SirDouglas at 9:07 am September 19

Those were good ones!! Out of those I loved The most awful family in britian!!!! :) LOL---------------------------------

Nudge, nudge, wink, wink. Know what I mean?”

arkennedy at 11:24 pm September 18

...and I think it's a good sketch too :) here was my source: http://www.ibras.dk/montypython/justthewords.htm

My all-time fave sketches are Dennis Moore and Lupins (tied for first place)
with Spanish Inquisition as a very close second.

********************************************
No spam please. Graham doesn't like spam.

SirDouglas at 9:11 am September 19

I loved Spanish Inquisition!!!! But I loved Dennis Moore and Lupins sketch as well! ! :)---------------------------------

"Shut up! It's a hold-up, not a Botany lesson. Now, no false moves please. I want you to hand over all the lupins you've got.")

the_thina: woody and tinny words here too. I love grahams stiff upper lip-tourettes and erics "later dear". and penguin on the telly. john and graham just makes wonderful old ladies.

SirDouglas at 7:42 pm September 18

LOL, I thought Graham was hilarious in that sketch 2 He was my favorite in that sketch!! :)

the_thina at 7:45 pm September 18

witch of the two are you talking about now? INTERCOURSE or BURMA? :P

SirDouglas at 8:54 pm September 18

Wasn't burma from Penguin on the Television sketch?

the_thina at 9:28 am September 19

yes it is. I said that was my favourite as well as woody and tinny words, then you say you loved graham in that one, even if I was talking about two, so therefore my question.

SirDouglas at 12:48 pm September 19

OOPS Sorry thinking faster than I typed LOL, I see what you mean; I meant I loved graham as a old lady Penguin on the Television I should of looked over my typing I didn't have everything down that I was thinking of but yes both of those Penguin on the Television & Woody and Tinny Words are both Hilarious I have alway's been fond of Graham it was just so funny seeing graham as a old women (I'm use to seeing idle as the women)LOL ------------------------------------------

"It can't have come from the zoo! If it had come from the zoo it would have
"Property of the Zoo" stamped on it"!
"They don't stamp animals "Property of the Zoo"!!! You can't stamp a huge
lion"!!

the_thina at 5:03 pm September 19

haha, thats ok mate, I do the same thing from time to time. ;) and YES graham was so lovely as an old woman. and he/she is so daft in that one, so lovely. if you look at hes face just before he says "if it lays an eg" you can SEE the image coming to him! and how smart he think he is when he says "they stamp them when they are small" haha. oh, bless hes soul, I love him so much! :D
and yeah, eric made good wimen too. but seeing eric is my favourite python (batteing the first place with mike and graham though) he was lovely no matter what he was doing. ;)
