My bro liked him for the animations and also that he was the least common favourite. My older brother likes the unpopular things. Which is why when everyone started to like Holy Grail he started to despise it so now he hates that movie.

thankfully, Python is still massively undiscovered in my neck of the woods. Sure, people have seen the Holy Grail, some have even seen Life of Brian (meaning of life is a little obscure...you are a hard core fan if you've seen that).
Of course, it is for this reason that most people think I'm crazy....but occassionally, if you time it right, you can pass off one of their jokes as your own. And everyone thinks you are strange.
but I hate stealing material so I always explain it's from python...
good news is it got some people to watch python.
I also smuggled python videos into and E-mail with a friend and when a friend from Indiana asked me what Rin looked like I said
"like a younger less manly Michael Palin, oh wait you don't know him. Well I'm not telling you go look him up!"
Lets hope that gets her in the right direction.

they still wouldn't get it...and would still look at me as if I had gone mad.
The people with which I have surrounded myself simply consider me to be abstract beyond understanding, as, if one is not privvy to my train of thought, I often seem to come out of nowhere. Oh well.
No-one is interested in anything I say enough to look it up anyway. Mostly, they assume I'm probably right, and just smile and nod.

I would wonder if we were playing a very easy game of spot the loony
I've now gotten into the habit of reenacting the python scenes I make references to. Then I tell them to look it up on youtube. Sometimes they do but other friends have insisted they prefer to see me squabble around like and idiot while I play six men's parts and do it so fast that I almost pass out at the end. A few minutes later I make another python reference and do the whole thing over again. It is entertaining in public though. Once made an entire class turn their heads when I yelled
"My nipples explode with delight!" and scared a few families while stating rather loudly
"Is she in to pictures eh? Photographs eh? Know what I mean? Wink wink. Nudge nudge. Say no more! Say no more!"
Hmm maybe all these things I do are considered "weird" to the "normals"
I'm pretty sure the only reason they don't look it up is so they have an excuse to watch me act like a fool. Well there is no need people! I'll act like a fool weather or not you understand me!

probably because he has the whole underdog thing going on.....It's like picking out the runt of the litter because you feel sorry for it.
That said, I have a lot of respect for his creative genius....I just think he gets hugely unlucky from time to time.
