just heard from mike myers himself that this scene in austin powers was inspired by castle antrax in holy grail. yeah... its not supricing knowing that he is into python at all. :) and he is half brittish as well if I remember correctly. something about his friends when he was a kid saying that one of his parents talked like the beatles. haha
He also lived & worked on Scottish kids TV here for a time I think his father is Scots? It may have been early 80's when the MP films were coming out?
hmmm, dont know... never been watching scottish kids-tv. :P
but however, al python-films exept one was made in the 70s... (unless you count hollywood bowl, then all but 2 where made in the 70s)
