Anyone else celebrating the anniversary with a party?

Hey guys, I was just wondering, is anyone else going to celebrate with a little party of their own? I think it's a big day for us Python fans and I really want to go all out. I'm gonna buy me some Spam, make a curry and stick a note on it saying 'Lemon Curry'and anything else I can relate to Python. I'm really looking forward to it, I was just wondering though, what's everyone else doing to celebrate? We should post our celebratories the day after :) What do you think?

the_thina: not sure what Im gonna do. as you guys know Im in the middle of moving... so maybe pack to some python-records. I will however squeeze in to watch holy grail. but no party this year, maybe next year

Colonel Daughter: I think I'll buy a new book, but I still I haven't decided: Palin's Halfway to Hollywood? BigRedBook? BrandNewBok?
...which one was the one with a nudechapman? XDD

Johnnyrose: Here in Portugal this moment is so important that they made Octobe 5th into a holiday.... of course that Republican Revolution at October 5 of 1910 also helped... but I know that the main reason was celebrating the Python birth... ;0)

mrsCutout: Yeah ok I'll buy spam a lot! I'll sit and watch my fav film and series episodes.Plus the very first one! ...I'lll improvise!

Tanya_Birklid19: I'm thinking about taking the two days off from college, I'm thinking about a party, but I'm not quite sure.

genji: I'm still thinking...

For dinner I think I'll cook Lobster Thermidor au Crevettes with a mornay sauce served in a Provencale manner with shallots and aubergines garnished with truffle pate, brandy and with a fried egg on top and spam. Frozen lobsters are only £3 each at Asda. My g/f suggested she make a spam cake but I'm not keen on the idea.

As for activities I'm not sure. I may spend Monday getting hammered on gin and tonics in remembrance of Mr. Chapman and the Tuesday recovering watching various odds and sods wearing a bowler hat. I've asked a few friends round but with it being a Tuesday no one seems very keen.
