The war make people insane... It was horrible to hear that they continued fighting for the very end... It makes no sense. But they had a picture of their heads that as long as they killing people, they achieve more glory. Sick sick sick. I was crying while watching..

There is a really good movie called "Joyeux Noël" its about a unofficial cease fire on Christmas eve. Its really moving.

There's also All Quiet on the Western Front, by Erich Maria Remarque. I've never seen the movie, but I really liked the book. It centers around Paul, a German soldier, and his comrades as they face the war from the German side.
