Heloo from Terry

Well hello,

Terry here - dipping a tentative toe into what I believe they call social media. John C seems to have been doing this for simply ages but I'm new to it all so be gentle with me. I do now have a Twitter account (@PythonJones) whatever that is and the nice people at Twitter have been kind enough to 'verify' me - which means that I am now in absolutely no doubt as to who I am. Which is nice.

I'll try to remember to post some things here about what I'm up to - the new animated movie, the LIfe of Brian drama and so on, and the new book I'm writing at http://www.unbound.co.uk. Once again it's one of these new-fangled ways of doing things called 'crowd-funding' which means that you get to buy the book before I've written it. But when I do write it, it will have your name in it, which is a lovely thought. Anyway, have a look.

Off to Bath now.

French Taunter: Really nice, but I do not want to be on twitter or have it because I think I have already enough social media (1 or 2 which I do not take care of, just to show how I am interested on that things). But I will have a look to the book or what is on the way.

Merci for the news! :) How is Bath?

a_nervous_wreck: Oh yay! You've made an account, I'm so happy. Unfortunately I think Twitter is a load of rubbish, so unfortunately I wont be following you on there... yet. Dun dun DUN! Also, I think its great that you guys decided to collaborate on that movie about Graham (favorite Python EVAR!), and I look forward to seeing it next year. I only have one thing that's bugging me about it though. Eric, why isn't the lovely Mr. Idle taking part in the movie? I was kind of sad knowing he wasn't taking part in it, since then it would have been a full Python reunion (I'm counting the cutout of Graham as a person :)). Also the LoB drama sounds like it'll be good, and its airing near my birthday, so yay! I just wish I didn't live in Cali, then I could watch it *grumble grumble* Anyway, I think I've talked enough now, and as you probably wont be reading this anyway, being so busy, it was kind of stupid of me to write this anyway. Oh well, at least I'm showing support for your new projects, especially the book, which I can't wait to get my hands on, then read over and over again.

PS good luck with the book and the movie, and have fun in Bath :)

PPS, Jeff, my hat, says hi and wishes you luck too

PPPS, you're doing fine with the social media, so don't worry. Have fun on the interwebs :)

PPPPS, ALBATROSS!!! (It had to be done -_-)

I am reading this anyway. Although I can't always guarantee to read everything. Everything would be a bit much.

French Taunter at 9:37 am July 01

True, I imagine how busy they/you are! First with private life (as everyone I guess;]), then between a lot of invations from a lot of persons, work, time to have fun too then reading the girly stuff we put on this site (actualy I did not met so many boys here ... good! ;]) They have people working under their names.
By the way the others do not really give news here also and their let us play, say funny things or bad, find fishes, throw cows and fight the clowns! Even tell freak stories! ;)
Also it is nice to give us a piece of their/your life by taking the time to reply! :)

PS!! Next time I wish a reply or a thread en français! ;) (kidding, I know that from english pigs it is impossible it!;])

J.Gambolputty at 9:47 am July 01

Je ne crois pas c'est impossible, c'est seulement difficile... (I think that went horribly wrong...?) Haha.

French Taunter at 3:33 pm July 01

Sacrebleu, your reply is français!! :O Are you sure to be english? ;)

J.Gambolputty at 2:57 am July 02

Actually I'm a Finn ;)

a_nervous_wreck at 9:54 am July 01

Ack! What is all this French doing here? Lol. I can't speak a word of it, I'm so jealous of all you guys, having a second language and all that. Hmph

Oh, and thank you Mr. Jones for replying to me. It made me feel all warm and fuzzy inside :D okay off to listen to music now... d^-^b ♪That deaf, dumb, and blind kid, sure plays a mean pinball!♪ tee hee

J.Gambolputty at 10:30 am July 01

Oh don't be, just start learning a new language. You can always try ;)

French Taunter at 3:37 pm July 01

!Esta persona tiene razòn! Ooops! Sacrebleu I almost forget to fetch the Français!:P I speak spanish like a Lama!;) I just tell that you are right [in Spanish]:)

a_nervous_wreck at 10:35 am July 01

I actually am trying to learn Croatian, and so far I'm doing pretty good with it :)

French Taunter at 3:44 pm July 01

Bra, jeg lære Norsk også, fordi engelsk, spansk og fransk er veldig lett til meg! Damn it! Don't let me speak norwegian or throw words in icelandic!;)
But I think you do prety good to try another language because it opens your mind to the culture that language belongs!:) Or sometimes it is a culture that calls you to learn the language or languages its belong to. (It can be also Love!;]) Just go head! :)

J.Gambolputty at 10:39 am July 01

Wow! Croatian? That's impressive, is it hard to learn by the way? I mean is the grammar very complicated or anything?

a_nervous_wreck at 10:44 am July 01

Not for me it isn't, but then I'm being taught by my friend's mom, Dragica, and she has a way of making everything seem easier for me. I would imagine though, based on what I've learned so far, that the grammar is a little challenging

French Taunter at 3:45 pm July 01

Oh My God!!! :O throw the grammar away!!!!! :P ;)

terryjones at 2:36 am July 02

So does anyone around here speak good old fashioned Middle English?

J.Gambolputty at 12:02 pm July 02

Don't think so... I myself prefer Finnish. Or this 'normal' kind of English. Or even German or French.

French Taunter at 10:53 am July 02

No sir icelandic is enough, but if you do that is nice!^^ and I speak spanish and french since I was born and I had to learn English because Monty Python movies translated in French are not so good! ;)

a_nervous_wreck at 9:34 am July 02

......... no. Do you? I can kinda speak Shakespearean. Oh, there's something I've always wanted to know Mr. Jones. I know you grew up in Surrey, but do you speak any Welsh? I've just always wondered that since that's where you were born
