Oh, lovely! I love that Chopin nocturne, and Barcarolle, and especially Rondo alla Turca - and all the Python ones you mentioned, of course! I take it you're a piano player, JG?

Reading our faves so far brings to mind a fantastic marriage of rock and classical by Jimmy Page of Led Zep fame:

And John Cleese on pop music, which amuses me greatly!

Yes I am ;) For almost... seven years now!
Cleese on pop music, great.. I almost agree with him, but only almost.
"Where's the pleasure in that" :DD

Mrs Attila the Hun 93: Ah, you're a rock chick I see :D Very good, very good. I'm an all rounder really, so I pretty much like every genre out there.

I like Green Onions, White Knuckle Ride & Day Tripper - don't think I know the others ... might have to check them out!

Mrs Attila the Hun 93 at 3:55 am October 30

Well, the others are more... 'dancey' should I say, like Trance, Drum & Bass, that sort of thing. I can't believe you know (and like) 3 out of 5 of them ^^ Awesome!

Here Comes Another One at 4:25 am October 30

Yeah, it's cool to come across people with tastes in common. :-p That's why I was curious to see what people with whom I've got Python in common like to listen to!

dancing_shoes_ at 8:21 pm October 31

I'm totally a rock/indie chick through and through. I think that's partly why Python and their style of comedy appeals to me, because they're sort of comedy rock'n'roll stars. They were revolutionaries in their day and total rebels to the traditional form!

Favourite Musicians (At the moment):
Arctic Monkeys
Bloc Party
Florence and the Machine
The Runaways
Maximo Park

Here Comes Another One at 8:53 pm October 31

I agree, they were a bit like rock stars! I like the Arctic Monkeys, Florence & the Machine & the Runaways, but only know a couple of songs from each. F & the M's 'Girl with one eye' is one of my current faves.
