I'm so happy for you, but also very jealous! I met Eric Idle a few years ago, but it was VERY brief as there were allot of people there and we all waited quite a while for the honor. I had only enough time to make a blithering idiot of myself! I can't remember what I said, but I fear it was all jibberish. He was so unbelievably nice, though! Just a sweet sweet man!
It's amazing (as you pointed out) to meet someone you've idolized for a long time (over 30 years, in my case) and discover they are warm, wonderful people. How cool is that??
And to think you almost turned down the opportunity to see the show a second time! LOL
