Mrs Attila the Hun 93: Ch-ch-check me out!

Mrs Attila the Hun 93:

So you've seen whose playing the Pythons, now here's the two who'll be playing the nasty bishop and that Muggeridge idiot in the main LOB debate.

Roy Marsden as The Bishop of Southwark
Michael Cochrane as Malcolm Muggeridge at 8:43 am August 24

The faux-Bishop's face is...very small.

Mrs Attila the Hun 93 at 10:39 am August 24

And faux-Muggeridge's head is ... very large ;P at 6:06 am August 25

It really is a looker, innit? I mean, my GOD.

a_nervous_wreck at 10:24 am August 23

Its kinda hard for me to hate that Bishop guy when he looks like my (great) uncle Timmy. Still I have a very strong dislike of him :)

mrs galahad 19 at 8:32 am August 24

Good choice on the Bishop, but, I dunno maybe it's just me, I would choose a different actor for Muggeridge. That's just my opinion.

mrs galahad 19: Great article! Can't wait to see it! (the day after it airs 'cause I live in bloody North Dakota, a place some people think is part of Canada, or think it doesn't exist at all! Or a place where other peope think there's dumb criminals with goofy accents.) at 8:14 pm August 14

Oh, oh! Can I ask how you're going to watch it? I am desperate to see it, but I live in Texas and I am hopeless, haha.

mrs galahad 19 at 8:04 am August 15

Hopefully someone might have it uploaded on Youtube or something of that nature.

Mrs Attila the Hun 93: And do check out HolyFC on IMDB. Gives a complete list of all the actors/actresses involved.

Mrs Attila the Hun 93: Nice interview with Phil 'Terry G' Nichol in the Scotsman, talking about HolyFC and his one man show. Gives a subtle hint into what's going on in the film.
PS. For goodness sake, Phil, upload those publicity shots NOW!! (When you read the interview you know what I'm talking about)

TheSister91: I suppose it would be very cool!!! :D

Mrs Attila the Hun 93:

Darren's official Cleese wig complete with moustache. Made me chuckle very much. All we need now is a pic of him actually with it on! at 6:45 am July 29

Very nice! Ahaha. Looks a bit creepy without facial features...
I am determined to find a way to watch this based on Darren's twitter posts about it. Punching Eric and whatnot...

Mrs Attila the Hun 93 at 7:42 am July 29

Yeah and he apparently tells Mike that he loves him, too :D Grrrr, I wish Sept 23rd would come sooner! So frustrating!!!

Where in the world do you reside btw? I seem to be a lucky sod, living in jolly ol' England where it's being broadcast XD at 9:14 am July 29

Oh, I love me some John and Mikey love. :)

And I live in Texas! Where it's been over 100 F for over 30 days, I have in fact never ridden a horse, and where it is just as politically conservative as the media makes it out to be. It's awful being a liberal, haha.

a_nervous_wreck at 3:28 pm July 28

Ack! Milk just shot out my nose! I have to stop drinking stuff and reading posts here at the same time.

Oh my god! I want to see Darren wearing this NOW! On the double Dar, chop chop! No time to waste.

Lvndr HppE: This reminded me of this thread. Just another take on this same issue.

Paute at 10:48 am July 14

Hhahaha yeah...

Mrs Attila the Hun 93: Another update: Mark your diaries/calenders for Friday September 23rd, the official date it broadcasts!

Mrs Attila the Hun 93: Update: Took a glance at Darren Boyd's twitter, who gives us a lovely insight into his filming of Holy Flying Circus:

20th June - Today I shall be punching the lovely Steve Punt [Eric Idle] in the face. On set. In a scene. Cleese vs Idle... #holyflyingcircus

25th June - Have had two days off from Python. Tomorrow I'll be telling Michael Palin that I love him. And attempting to attack a bishop. As you do..

Check him out, if you wish:!/DarrenJBoyd

Tanya_Birklid19 at 10:39 am June 30

*checks out Darren's page* hhmmmm *follow*

Lvndr HppE at 6:15 pm July 01

Oooh! I was just looking at his tweets. Stephen Fry is gonna be in the pic. He's playing God. I am NOT making this up. :-D

Mrs Attila the Hun 93 at 10:40 pm July 01

Indeed indeedy do. He got told off by someone (not sure who exactly, maybe someone from the BBC) for posting a pic of himself in make-up dressed as God with full beard and everything XD ... But then they eventually gave him permission, so nip over to S. Fry's page and you can see the pic. Made me lol.

Lvndr HppE: It was a good thing I read what you wrote afterwards, because from the title, I thought it was a drama made from the movie Life of Brian. Didn't think that was a good idea. :-\ But a documentary about what happened afterwards, that I'd watch!

TheRealGilliamFan: I hope someone tapes this for the rest of us! It will only play on BBC, right???

genji at 4:42 am June 29

It'll be 'available' about 45 minutes after it airs, I reckon.

Mrs Attila the Hun 93: I've just seen a video of Steve Punt (the dude playing Eric) and my God, he's literally Eric's double!!

And I don't know what it is, but there's a very Palin-esque look going on with Charlie Edwards (the guy protraying Mike):

Tanya_Birklid19 at 7:45 am June 23

Totally on both parts! I kinda melted when I watched the Charles one. Guess because he's got dimples and looks like Mike :p

MontyBobek at 10:49 am July 08

saw both, second both... lookin' forward to see the BBC's apology (40-ish yrs later, but for some masterpieces, izt takes at least 40:

a_nervous_wreck at 4:43 pm June 24

Sweet mother of Brian! Steve is like Eric's clone or something! And Charles does carry a certain Palinistic quality about him. Mostly his smile and how he sort of squints his eyes a bit. I wish there were more Mikey and Eric clones running around, maybe then there would be world peace :)

J.Gambolputty at 8:48 am June 25

Amen to that... ;)

marga: oh dear! I've been away for a long time but this morning I read the news in a local newspaper and I was really freaked out. I can't imagine any actor playing the Pythons but I won't miss it!

Lvndr HppE: I like it! If only I could see it. :-(

mrsCutout: HAHAHA it would be so strange to see a Python bio on tv! Ofcourse I won't be able to watch it here but i'll try YT sometime.I'd like to watch it anyway.A;though it's silly!!

Tanya_Birklid19: THIS JUST IN: looked up who the guys were, and I must say they made excellent choices as to who is playing who. I remember seeing Shanghai Knights, and everytime I tune in to that film, it's when they meet Arthur Doyle, and I kept thinking to myself, He looks exactly like Graham sometimes. Well sure, enough, found the guy who played Doyle (Fisher). Amazing!

Totally irrelevant to this, but, JG and Fred, have you guys read Ep 2 of A&M's adventures yet? It's up there, both parts. Just curious if you did and forgot to comment.

mrsCutout at 4:15 pm June 21

J.Gambolputty at 10:49 am June 21

YES! Sorry, I couldn't think of anything intelligent to say after reading them apart from AMAZING and FANTASTIC etc...!

a_nervous_wreck at 10:22 am June 21

Ack! Yes, yes I did, it's just that my brain wasn't working after I read the story, so I forgot to comment on it. Sorry. I thought it was AWESOME, especially part 1, cause Sitting Bull is in my list of the top 100 dead guys :) but also the doctor who looked like... Liam Neeson? If that's wrong I'll have to read the story again, but that part made me giggle, cause my mom had just said something about Liam, and then I looked back to the story and saw his name :)

Tanya_Birklid19 at 11:02 am June 21

Glad you liked them. Now as far as the next episode, option A or B?

Yes, the doctor looked like Liam Neeson you did read that correctly, Fred :)

a_nervous_wreck at 3:55 pm June 21

Option A, cause then I can imagine Michael as the love child of Rambo, and this guy I saw jogging yesterday (he had an eight pack, an EIGHT pack! I didn't think that was even humanly possible!), while still keeping his sexy baby face. I fantasize about the pythons WAY to much

J.Gambolputty: Freddy, we could move to UK together, 'cos I can't stand this either...

But it really is true; all the good things are beyond my reach. All the good things that come from England I mean. Even all the tv shows, that are originally from UK and which they show quite a lot here (hallelujah!), come at least a year late!! My thoughts in a nutshell; AAAARRRRGH!!

Sorry where was I..? Oh yes, anyway, that sounds good. Even if I can't watch it.

Tanya_Birklid19: I too express feelings of not living in the UK, I too must find out everything I can about this. Hopefully in the future someone will post it on YT or something. Must get out of this one-buffalo state called North Dakota and fly to England and stay with a relative there (I really do) and watch it there! AAAARRRGGHH!

a_nervous_wreck at 9:44 am June 21

Take me wif you! Its not kidnapping if I go willingly right? :P

Tanya_Birklid19 at 9:46 am June 21

I could say you're a shirt-tail cousin or something. Or I could smuggle you in a large luggage bag.

a_nervous_wreck at 9:55 am June 21

Hmmm... this could work, this could work...

a_nervous_wreck: NYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHH!!!!!! WHY DO I HAVE TO LIVE IN AMERICA???!!!!!!! WHY CAN'T I LIVE IN ENGLAND SO I CAN SEE THIS????!!!!!! RRRRRRRRRRR!!! *takes a deep, calming breath* Okay, I'm good now. But seriously, why can't I live in the freaking UK? Why has god punished me so?! Why has he made it near impossible for me to see this?! I am going straight to Google, and finding out EVERYTHING I can about this drama, even if it kills me... which it probably will
