A fabulously entertaining 90 minute comic oratorio by Eric Idle and John Du Prez (creators of Spamalot), inspired by Monty Python’s Life Of Brian and filmed at its only European performance at the Royal Albert Hall in October 2009 to celebrate 40 years of Monty Python.
This hilarious take on the Messiah features the BBC Symphony Orchestra and Chorus, a host of superb soloists in the lead roles including Rosalind Plowright and Eric Idle, with Michael Palin as Mrs Betty Parkinson and special guest appearances from Pythons Terry Jones and Terry Gilliam. And of course three sheep!

Mahtavaa! Meillä ei tainnu olla ketään pukeutunut Turussa miksikään hahmoksi. Tuntui et olin ainut hullu, joka hihkui ja taputti välistä (olisin halunnu taputtaa enemmän mut en jotenkin kehdannu yksin) ja nauroi kuin mielipuolinen. Lauloin myös niitä lauluja mukana :D

Oulu. :) Gonna go with my friend, the one I brutally converted to Pythonism. No, just kidding, didn't really take that much. A couple episodes of Flying circus and she was hooked! But yeah, we are both gonna dress up as Gumbys. I thought of dressing up as a Pepperpot, but that isn't nearly as funny if a genuine woman does it. Besides, Gumby probably is one of the best known Python characters. Otherwise people might just think that I like dressing up like my grandmother. Which isn't true, I promise! :D
