Poor postman... hehehehe

I sleep in that postcard!

Paute: I want that!!

Holly: there is a website called zazzle.com & you can upload any picture you want & make custom stamps.

Lady April: It's not the size mate....

Stig: This just has to be dodgy

BroMaynardG: Tere and I just started discussing ways to massively distribute these abroad, for those of you who might want a single stamp, a block of four or a whole sheet.

To be considered, besides the face value of the stamps, is packaging and postage.

You can't fold a sheet of stamps, and it needs a piece of cardboard so it doesn't get folded. So an 8"x 10" manila envelope and an 8" x 10" piece of cardboard. This increases the weight . Plus we would want to send it with nicely printed labels with NTM stamps.

Once we know the issue date and the cost of a sheet, we can calculate what sending one properly packaged set abroad will cost.

Now we are NOT trying to make money here, we are trying to break even.

First - is there a desire to possess such a collectible? Second - who might be interested? Third - what payment options are there?

I am NOT wealthy, but Tere thinks many of you would want a single or perhaps a sheet-load of stamps.

Let us know what the interest level is and we will explore the most economically-feasible way of distribution!

CamelSpotter: Please tell me this wasn't Photoshopped, because how I wish it were true...

I'm not sure this is a legit stamp, however we can print off our own stamps with our own pictures here in the US. You just buy some sort of computer program, buy the blank stamps, but your picture on it, print it, mail it!

Ouer RSMHanry made a stamp of Pythonliners out from a lovely work made by RSMBiggles, and it came out FAN-TAS-TIC!!!

I still have those, dug them up just yesterday! If someone who hasn't seen them yet wants a postcard from me, send me a message with your name and address! The offer still stands after all this time. ;)

Sorry, it´s a fake stamp... I made it myself... even the people are made of chalk and wet painted paper

BroMaynardG at 12:42 pm October 12

You got me all excited. Now I will have to go and change my jeans.

Well Done!

TheSister91: I suppose that with a stamp like that they can even send the Pythons by ordinary mail!! LOL

What I'd said, was that it could be used to send a Python's Urn, even if not an entire Python (He's lost a few bits what with being DustBusted and knocked around.
