Some Python animated gifs

I just discovered a feature in one of my image editors that I had never noticed before. So I decided to give it a try and here are the results. Please click the images to see the effects.

I made some of these gifs using images that were posted here by other members at some point or another. I can't remember who posted which images but whoever it was, thanks for posting them :)

Feedback is welcome.

If anyone wants to know how I made these images and what editor I used read the paragraph below otherwise you may want to skip it because if you aren't interested in image editing or don't really care how I made these images the paragraph probably won't be very interesting to you.

The editor I used is called paint star (here's the link if anyone wants to try it it's free: http://sites.google.com/site/wangzhenzhou/home#Download ) and the effect was found in the tools tab and called morph maker. You load two images (I recommend smaller images otherwise it will take forever when it comes to creating the frames and it's probably a good idea to make sure the images are the same size you can always re size the images if they aren't the same size but you'll need to use a different image editor.) one to start with and one to end with. Then you choose a point anywhere on the first image then a point anywhere on the second image (the final effect varies depending on where you place the points) and you do this as many times as you like (as far as I can tell) then you choose how many frames you want (up to 50) and the time for each frame. Then you are ready to create frames and then save as a gif or a morph project. If you want to post the results on Pythonline I'd advise saving it as a gif because I don't know if morph projects can be posted on this site.

edit: Since the images are moving slowly for some of you I've made what should be quicker versions of the images (plus a few new ones) and posted them in another thread. Here's the link: http://pythonline.com/media/updated-version-some-python-animated-gifs

TheRealGilliamFan: These are really cool! XD

the_thina: when I open them, they all move very slowly. are they supposed to be slow, or is it my pc?

They shouldn't be very slow but they are supposed to be a little slow because I set each frame for 1 second.

I'm not sure if it's your computer or not but one way to test that would be to open up some different gifs ( for example you could try Paute's "Gifs af Python" thread: http://pythonline.com/media/gifs-python ) and if they aren't very slow then it probably isn't your computer.
