buy the ticket... that the ride... hold on... : )

mrsCutout: Ah so nice!

Lady and Laird Candermine:

'You still on vacation, daddy?'

Hanri at 1:28 pm July 09

Votes on the scene when it turned to a one-way ticket?

Lady and Laird Candermine at 2:55 pm July 09

? Hanri know totally sure what you mean here.. I'm sorry..
Meaning actual or clever with the one-way ticket.. buy the ticket, take the ride?

Hanri at 2:29 pm July 10

Well, when you go on a vacation, you usually get a two-way ticket.. Trying to be clever and not spoil anything for those who haven't seen the movie. :) Of course everyone should see it, very strong on my top 2 movies.

Thank you.. Hanri... I understand : ) by the way, what is the other top movie?

Hanri at 1:59 pm July 11

Oh my..... Braziiiiiiiil... where hearts were entertaining June......... we stood beneath an amber moon........ and softly murmured "some day soon"..... we kissed and clung together...

I keep on thinking of my favorites and I keep coming back Gilliam. :)

Lady and Laird Candermine at 2:39 pm July 11

oh... but of course!!!! : ) ..... remember it well ...

Hanri at 11:45 pm July 11

Oh Brother..... What a priceless mag cover. :) But seriously, some people just are that photogenic, haven't yet found a bad picture of him.

Lady and Laird Candermine at 2:40 pm July 11

thanks, Hanri!

thewastelandr: To be really honest, that movie totally freaked me out.

Lady and Laird Candermine at 10:10 am July 11

Waisty... I'm sorry you had freak out .. I lost a friend over the film... she left me after seening it or rather it adding to her leaving me .... I guess liking it made me, too frickin' weird..
I had strong moments of crapshit in my childhood so I don't find this movie horrid ... but rather right on course with some worlds, some of us ... sadly have had to visit... : ( ...

Terry captures the imagination of this age of childhood better than I have ever seen on screen by anyone... it's amazing .. it's sort of the shadow side of imagination as seen in munchausen, too ...
...
I adore Terry for making really some of the ONLY MOVIES .. that have a FEMALE CENTRAL 'child' CHARACTER!!!! THANK YOU, TERRY.. THANK YOU... in this Boy Story heavy world... I salute you !!! and thank you .. on behalf of little girls AND little boys everywhere...

thewastelandr at 9:39 am July 12

Oh that is a sad story about your friend! I didn't hate it by any means, it just left me with a slight stomach ache and a heavy heart. I like the idea behind the movie - a child's perspective about life and death, etc., but I just can't like the movie. Sorry to Terry, but I adore your other work!

Paute: Beautiful!
