ValerieMay: Last night I dreamt that I was working as an accountant for Eric Idle's organisation. As such, I met him on a cruise ship, and he offered to sign stuff for me, suggesting I could sell it on eBay for good money. I said I didn't have anything worth signing, and he suggested getting something, printing something off the internet, anything. The only thing that could make this dream more fun then happened: someone brought in a bunch of goats and a mule, which promptly jumped up on the sofa. But I resisted the temptation to play with their little fuzzy faces and tried to behave myself and engage in polite chitchat with the grown-ups. Then, at Eric's suggestion, I went to my work station on the cruise ship and printed some Eric or Python posters off the internet and brought them to him to sign, which he not only graciously did, but encouraged me to sell them for money. I believe he said their value might be around $1000, though I'm not sure if he meant each one or all of them combined.

Thanks for letting me get this off my chest, and thanks to Eric for being so concerned with my making a little money off him.

If I recall correctly, it was $10.00. A piece. Starting bid. He was oddly specific...
Also, I invaded your brain.

Pachorruo: Brilliant !!

rosie: Just saw Eric on Late Late show with Craig Ferguson, found out he would be on because I work for a car company that deals mainly with the entertainment industry. Walked in the other day and saw an email to book his cars going to certain places, one of which was to that show. Then, I got a phone call last night to put in a note for the driver to not ring at his gate at his home as this would wake up all in his house, I told the woman, "Yes,I know, we get these requests many times.." I felt priveleged to put this note in his reservation...sigh!!! I deal with a lot of big names, I don't react very often at all, but I lingered on putting this note in for 30 seconds or so, until my next email or phone call...HEHEHE...
